Jan-Michael Cart.
It’s pronounced exactly the way you see it spelled. And it has a hyphen. The origin of it? I’m named after the star of “Air Wolf” from the mid 1980s.
I’m a junior majoring in Mass Media Arts at the University of Georgia, located in the classic city of Athens, GA.
I love doing videos and graphics. I spend most of my time in Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, and Final Cut Pro editing video and making graphic animations. I work for the school magazine (ampersand) and the newspaper (The Red & Black), doing front covers and custom graphics. I’m almost finished with the last movie of my science fiction trilogy, “Tomorrow’s End”. When I’m not editing, I’m learning more and more about coding in Xcode for iOS.
Recently, I started creating iOS animation videos for Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch. These videos have garnered much attention across the internet, being featured on high-traffic websites such as MacRumors and Gizmodo. To date, I’m over two million views!
